bites the dust...er, snow. I resolved not to whine, complain or rant about the weather this winter. About January, I confess I had broken the resolve a few time. I tried to embrace the season like it says on Travel Alberta ads. I walked my dogs. I took my camera and caught some images of "winter wonderland." I'm done. It didn't work. This winter is awful; not only that, it's never-ending. I write this as the first days of spring (by the calendar) roll by. On the first day of spring we had wind, snow, a blizzard, really. Now the after effects. Cold and drifts that piled snow up way higher than it should be.
The likelihood is that I'll be complaining about a late spring snow storm in May. Probably as they say here, for May long, when everyone wants to be out camping and shaking the vistages of Old Man Winter. He's a bugger and seems overly crabby this year. I'd like to give him the boot but he's way more stubborn than that.
I've been married a long time and often write about everyday events.
